And based on the graph the number is still well below what it was under the former president prior to the pandemic.

Yeah, there’s no trend there at all. Nothing to see there. Inflation isn’t causing more people to get part-time jobs.

Hey, I think I just saw the Easter bunny.

People work multiple jobs for a number of reasons. Just out of curiosity how do you explain the late '90s during which the percentage of those employed holding multiple jobs was considerably higher than at any time during the last 20 years while both unemployment and the rate of inflation were very low by historic standards.

I would add that based on a number of your previous posts it's rather clear that you're hoping for either a serious recession and/or a resurgence of inflation as the route to a presidential election victory in 2024 for the Orange One or his rival Meatball Ron DeSanticimonious.

    From post #11.

Which was a natural and expected reaction from the reopen.

Interestingly I recall listening to CNBC and they were talking about the revised jobless claims being much higher than expected.
They seemed to think it may help the Fed tap the breaks.

Wednesday is kinda big now. A real slowing of inflation after the fed hints at a pause and a soft landing / avoiding recession is still possible.

Well if all else fails Repubs will just blow the economy up by refusing to raise the debt ceiling.

Actually even if they were all part time jobs that wouldn’t necessarily be a bad thing. More and more people are choosing to work part time for various reasons, like seasonal workers/farm workers, to supplement the family income, more freedom to work remotely, college students looking for extra spending money, those who are limited by law as to the number of hours they can work, or kids saving up to buy that first car. Then you have those who can only get part time work because of a lack of experience/education, and have to work multiple jobs. I’m not sure how many of those make up the workforce, but I know several teachers back in the 80’s who had to work summer jobs as construction laborers, or fast food workers just to make ends meet.
