If the number was 2 then take the under. If I was Vegas I would put the number at 1.

UGA will be up by 28 late in the 4th and UF will score a cheap late TD to make the final margin 21, a lot of bettors are gonna be pissed.

If our defense can make crappy QBs look like Heisman candidates, what is Bennett going to do to us? He's the same as Hooker and unlike the Vols is backed up by a stout defense. Bennett is completing nearly 71% of his passes although he doesn't have the number of TDs to show for it. But he's been picked only once all year and will playing against the worst secondary in all of college football. I expect Bowers to have a 200 yard game and if not him, then watch out for Delp. The 2 best TEs in college football and we have a hard time with athletic TEs. Then add McConkey to the mix. That will open up the running game for them too - expect a 200 yard rushing effort.

    Tail of the tape:

    Points Per Game
    UF 31.4
    Georgia 41.7
    Points Allowed Per Game
    UF 28.1
    Georgia 9.1
    Total Yards
    UF 430.1
    Georgia 526.6
    Yards Passing
    UF 217.0
    Georgia 329.9
    Yards Rushing
    UF 213.1
    Georgia 196.7
    Yards Allowed
    UF 429.3
    Georgia 247.1
    Pass Yards Allowed
    UF 244.3
    Georgia 163.7
    Rush Yards Allowed
    UF 185.0
    Georgia 83.4

On average, Florida's average score is 31 - 28. Georgia's is nearly 42 - 9. We have the worst 3rd down defense in the nation. The worst defense in the Power 5 on defensive TOP and yards per game.

I bet we go for a lot of 4th downs…which could result in an even larger spread.

Regardless of if we win or lose, I think there will be serious off-season changes - lots of players that are not getting it done will not be here.

Tall order. Tennessee's defense is ranked 102d. Georgia's defense is ranked 4th. Matching them on offense means we have to outplay their offense by a factor of 10, as our offense has to play their defense, while their offense gets to play OURS...

I had a premonition last night…the Butt Lickers have some wickedly bad breakfast burritos Saturday morning leading to a widespread case of explosive diarrhea while riding on the bus to the Gator Bowl (I don’t care whatever it’s called now, it’s our freaking stadium). Hilarity ensues, there’s a steady stream of dogs running back and forth to the locker room all day, Kirby is seen dragging his itchy behind around on the sidelines, and the Gators win!

STP - I like where you're going with this...mix some Tiger Balm in their jocks for added effect.

The good news is if they kill us, we were probably not expecting to win anyway. Hence, the pain will wear off after the standard three days of mourning. And if we pull off the upset it will be a Glorious event indeed.

I'm loving the recruiting and where this is all going. All this foundational rebuilding is a good thing. Kids are enrolled in the vision and even more recruiting surprises are possible.

    Go Gators.;)

Prognostication is for Nostradamus. Let’s just play the darn game and the chips will lay where they fall.

We always have a chance if we play very well and don't miss so many tackles in the back end. Still I'd rather be an 0-12 Gator than a 12-0 dawg.

I always am intrigued about these things as a rival fan could easily pull off something like this if they work in food service. Not saying anyone should do this, but can you imagine the Bama fan that poisoned the trees at Toomer’s Corner having access to something like this?

Agreed. Also not encouraging it but it is kind of surprising that we don’t hear about this kind of thing happening.
