208 Republicans vote against easier path for citizenship for immigrants who served in the military

    This legislation is useless as current immigration policy already fast tracks vets pathway to citizenship.

    In cases like that, the sides should come out and say that at a press conference.

    "We called this conference to state on the record that we support citizenship for these cases but the bill was so filled with poison pills, examples A, B and C, that we can not support it.

    If someone will bring a bill for just the cause of such citizenship we will vote in the affirmative immediately."


    But they don't. I never understand why they arent better with messaging.

    The "compromise" you came up with just happens to be one of the first reasonable compromises you've seen in some time? C'mon. It's a bad idea. Now, I could get behind that being ONE of the options, but definitely not the only option.
