We were in it for a couple of their guys last year. Maybe we get them as JRs.

 

Evan Stewert would be a massive target. He was their only threat it looked like, catching everything. But yes I'm sure there's a few guys Billy would put eyes on.

The ONLY thing saving his job. Without a doubt should have got into coaching.

 

Brent Beaird says he has heard if they let him go it will be next year. They want to keep the team intact because they play Texas next year. They also want to keep the recruiting class intact.

 

Yeah, I wouldn’t give any coach a large buyout. In retrospect Mullens was kind of low based on current contracts. 12 million flat. Napiers is like $31 million this year. Goes down next year but nowhere near Mullens. Mullens was quite low compared to his peers.

 

Someone needs to come in and take Rick’s production next year. Rather it be someone with experience than hope an inexperienced WR on roster shows up

 

Bretts buyout should be like 8 million. ADs should be fired at a school like Illinois for a buyout that large for a coach no one was looking to hire as their head coach. It is irresponsible.

 

How these schools keep falling for it is even worse.

 

More lucrative to fail than be successful. Get paid the same thing to sit home for a few years.

 

He's friends with Lagway... I posted all this. But... the more the merrier.

I think I would rather we poach Coleman from A&M...

 

And he still quit on the job. I guess it’s not always the big buyout that makes em lazy.

 

I want the one on their roster.

He's a 2025 guy. He has a year and a half to find another home.
