On3 didn’t interview everyone in the country, and you have to know that people will lie and say money isn’t the most important thing to them. Most people don’t want to believe something like that about themselves.

Fair point. The survey from On3 does have limitations. The issue of lying adds another layer of complexity. It raises questions about how effectively such behaviors can be detected or accounted for in data analysis. Not sure there is much Incentive to lie on the survey tho. One can be pretty honest without any repercussions. I’m prob giving them too much credit. NIL has changed things quite a bit.
I think some will just lie, and many more don’t want to believe that about themselves. All the data on NIL is bunk. Take it all with a grain of salt.

So you don’t think people lie on other surveys, Just these types? Can’t tell ya how many employee surveys I’ve done. Surely employees lie. Does that make all surveys pointless? guess we should fire data analyst? This conversation is about one particular player and how it may come down to family environment or feel vs a bag. That’s it. The data just shows that there is a chance, and trying to account for lies (assumption) is a whole other data entry. It’s unfair to the player to assume his character is in question, and that he may be a liar. I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt.
I think most surveys are a waste of time, and generally refuse to participate. I think this particular survey is a bigger waste of time than most. This data generated here doesn’t improve or fix anything. You can fire the guy who thought it was a good idea if you want. His job was to generate clicks though, not produce useful info. He got your click, so maybe give him a raise?

It’s natural for you to want to answer the question, “no, I’m not a gold digger” which is essentially what these kids are being asked.
