What happened to the lake house on Lake Hartwell on the GA/SC boarder?

 

My memory of lake hartwell was that it was red water from the clay in the area. Not a good place to swim.

 

That would easily make this the best LB class in UF history

Edit: I've been made aware I'm slow and it didn't dawn on me I was posting in the 2025 recruiting thread when I made that comment.

 

Lake hartwell is a fantastic lake and one of the largest recreational lakes in the Southeastern US. I have a friends from Florida who vacay there yearly and quite a few friends from here in charleston who head to the upstate each year to spend a few days on the lake. Great fishing, water sports and relaxation.

 

Maybe I am thinking of lake Conroe,. About an hour east of charlotte?
