Having some ESD success in clawing their way back into the top 25 is more accurate. Good to see they stole from UGA though, thanks for sharing.
Yes, so far a class of 12 signees. The uga commit went where there was less competition, and way less OL to help him.
Two solids, but Boggs plummeted down the pecking order like a rock. He has great hands, is fluid, and a good load to bring down, but lacks a standout trait like size, speed, or elusiveness that is wanted by the big time programs.
Yeah, but what line is going to open holes for him? I normally agree with you, but a very talented Toafili averaged 4.8 ypc against us. The RB group rushed 23 times for 67 yards. He picked the worst offensive team in FBS to join. They averaged 89.9 ypg on the ground. That team also got their OL recruits plundered.
Why not? Hell, any random poster on here could probably make their two deep! Also, if they’re really hiring Malzahn, why would any WR want that system over Lagway?
The kid is getting more money from fsu and he’ll get a lot more playing time than he would at Georgia.
Where did you see his UGA/FSU NIL offers posted? I missed those. My point is that he could have picked any middle of the road SEC school and gotten the same NIL, a line to run behind, and much better development.
To us, it always seems simple. Choosing UF is a no brainer, even if/when we aren't that good. To the kids, there's a lot of things to consider and a lot of outside influencers putting a lot of pressure on them. They may really like one school or coach, but another school may be offering a bunch more money or a job for a family member or who knows what else.
I get it, but we always hear how the better players want to see the product they’ll be playing into. He flipped as a receiver from arguably the most receiving friendly QB on the market to what we saw Saturday night. It’s football career suicide for maybe short term gains? There are better programs for development that will give the parents a job that won’t force you to use your degree. That’s all I’m saying.
We also always hear how academics are super important, then watch them choose to go to Mississippi State. They don't know what they want. They're 17-18 years old. Imagine yourself trying to do something as simple as order a pizza at that age, but your mom really likes dominoes, pizza hut was offering to make your pops the regional manager, and hungry howies was going to give your entire family free pizzas for life and give your uncle and cousin a job. lol These kids have a lot of weight on their shoulders. If they choose somewhere else, they're still gator bait though. Don't get that part twisted.
I doubt the boosters are shelling out top dollar with NorveLLLLLLLLLL’s career on the chopping block. Having lived 30+ years in Tally, I can tell you with confidence that the vast majority of their fans quit supporting the football program mid season. If they had that kind of money, they’d still have Solomon. Our own NIL purse strings were tight until we turned the season around. That cesspool is no different.
You mean they didn't spend it all on frivolous lawsuits, clown noses and fertilizer for their oh so delicate field sod?
Running into a brick wall. The SEC already knows how to stop Gus' offense, and we will every year, maybe one or two. That is why he went to the Big12. Now he will huck his wares in the ACC. Expect the same results even with a very talented back like he had at UCF.
