I’m always leery of those kids who are not happy where they’re at. A lot of times they just don’t want to listen to authority but there are other instances that out not exactly the same thing
Poetic justice isn't usually this fast. Hoo-f'n-ray! But seriously folks, hopefully, the descension in the ranks is for real and their grimy little schyttbird mafia falls on its face sooner rather than later. If things actually do come apart in scUM town, I'd love to snatch Bryant away from them. The 5-star would be cool too, but I think we really need a top LB more. Sadly, Howard appears to be stuck on sc and we absolutely need another good hit at LB.
If there's some weird baggage or crazy money stuff involved, maybe you look elsewhere. But if that stuff works out, getting a great fit for the system, AND pimp slapping Miamah are worthy goals and should not be totally eliminated from consideration during the decision-making process.
I think it’s safe to say there is some baggage…I don’t think we would (allegedly) stop recruiting him if there wasn’t. I’m wasn’t aware that Bryant was a great fit ? I thought he was more of an athlete that will need to find a position?
Bryant looks like a super athlete. Most of his highlight reel is him shooting a gap and free to the RB or QB. I liked watching Grayson Howard because he showed a lot of highlights of having to negotiate through traffic to get to the RB and fair amount of dropping into coverage. If we get one LB who has not been full time at LB, I would like us to get another who has been full time LB.
I'm here for all the old guys who haven't heard a bunch of outdated epithets in a while. It's become my calling at this stage of life.
My WWII veteran Dad called me Shitbird more times than I could count. He also used the classic "you screwed the pooch again, junior" at various times.
Well when most players chose you only for the money, the biddings never stop, and the doubts start seeping in. Ruiz himself said he won't be able to continue buying players, so is this class enough to turn UM around? Are their own deals in danger? With so many other options out there do u want to stay to find out? I couldn't predict how much of a sh*tshow it will become, but I could definitely predict that using a publicly traded company to buy hs recruits (at least bending the law) with no ROI could not be sustained. How bad it gets and how quick, we can only watch and hope.
Ruiz, the billionaire Miami booster, says he’s unsure if he’ll keep signing so many athletes to NIL deals, expecting such deals will lose their value after their inaugural year. “Next year, it becomes standard,” he says. “People pay less attention, so you get less return on your investment.” That's what he said, which maybe people are reading into, but it really seems inevitable. You can't just use a publicly traded company to buy hs players for your school with no real roi. Might be a slick lawyer but doesn't seem like a smart businessman, so someone must be telling him it's not a smart way to do business and spend the company's money, aside from the attention from investigators. I don't even think Phil Knight would do something like this.
