Bama 25 commits 3 5* 20 4* Really scary if they get Ricks Smith Russaw Saban might retire in the next 5 years But he's going to out with a bang
true indeed but I'm not sure if they can ever return to the "Bama D" we've gotten used to. Something about them, if you can block them upfront, you can throw on them with ease
Too much time devoted to recruiting offense imo. And I don’t mean that in a bad way, it’s just impossible to have those elite defensive teams bama had 10 years ago AND have all these ridiculous Wr/QBs.
Also all that coaching turnover was bound to catch up to them. Parity Rules changes coaching turnover offenses evolving top talent graduating yearly mix all that in and "the field" was bound to catch up to them. I'm in no way saying the Bama run is over, i'm just saying that they'll be in more competitive games in the next few years than they were in their peak. Teams aren't "scared" of them anymore
What I like about Saban and Alabama is they are a thorn in Kirby. CKS war 4-4 in the SEC he's 1st year. 44-6 since. 4 of those to Bama. I think Tennessee/Lsu/ Florida will make big advancements in the next 3-5 years. But until then here's hoping Saban and Bama can cost Uga some titles like 2018.
Absolutely. And lastly, the Transfer portal. All those 5 star depth players not willing to be depth anymore when they can start somewhere else
bingo!! Same thing over time that happened to the Big 3 schools in Florida. Why sit for 2-3 years at those schools when i can go elsewhere and play as a true/redshirt freshman
It’s inevitable. Dynasty’s always fall. Somebody mentioned earlier about anting the Transfer portal because it’s keeping FSU relevant. Well….it’s also providing parity amongst teams such as bama and OSU, for teams like us. Double edged sword.
