    It goes to show the best thing for a supposed top 3 seed is to ignore the conference tournament and rest everybody up.

    Cunningham admits they moved NO ONE off the seed lines today...so in the eyes of the committee, beating a top 5 team and winning the best conference tourney...maybe ever...is meaningless.

    Maybe but would they want that SEC tourney champion banner or FF or better? Imagine if we lost a starter or 2 in that title game.

    I know, and mostly agree with the sentiment.

    They could also get hurt walking to and from the bus. Can’t live life scared.

    I'm glad they won it, only happened 4 times prior and it's been a decade since the last one. Regardless of it being meaningless for seeding, bonus was stuffing Bama in a locker and beating Tenn in front of their home crowd.

    I'm not so quick to minimize the SEC Tournament on account of NCAA Tourney seeding. 3 of our previous 4 champs were Final Four teams with 2 winning the national championship. Hopefully it puts them in a great place mentally heading into the Tournament. Not worried who this team has to face, they've already faced just the toughest tasks anybody would have to face. Can't wait to see this thing get started.
