The SEC has now had two teams in the final four on five occasions. Oddly, Florida was one of these teams in four of these years.
Initial opinions from 'experts' views of their brackets, based on what each team has done in the tournament, seem to a) elevate Duke to 'nigh on unbeatable' status and b) pass Florida's success to "luck" i.e. Williams makes his FTs, it's foregone that TT wins that game. #eyeroll I do agree we have not played complete games in the tourney thus far (Many others on here have said the same AND that must change for us to succeed) so there is reason for others without our O&B Glasses to be skeptical of our chance to win it all.
Houston did look very impressive. We really lucked out with our draw. Let Duke and Houston beat the hell out of each other.
Regardless of the championship results, no one can seriously argue that the SEC was NOT the best conference this season, and it wasn't really close.
Do we really want Bruce Pearl with NC credentials? I mean, I like him; I have met him personally a few times. But we don't need him flashing that ring to recruits/transfers.
