I was actually glad Texas Tech won. Arkansas scared me with their size and being fully hralthy. TT is very good and they have an All_american. But Florida's size and depth should control the game provided we take care of the ball and come out focused.
Well I posted this w one eye closed, thinking that the Hogs had won. Then I woke up. Let’s say that I anticipated the TT elimination on Sunday.
Have to hope Chase McMillian sits again. Averaged 14.2 ppg & shot 43.4% from 3. Have to think he's going to try & play. He's been out with an oblique injury. McMillian being out really hurts their depth & he's 1 of the best 3 pt shooters in the country. Texas Tech only played 7 guys vs Arkansas.
Let’s hope he’s still out tomorrow. Looks like we can maybe wear them down a bit if they're only 7 deep
I don’t know about the rest of you but I am really excited about tonight’s game. I like both coaches - young guy back to turn his team around (and Cal choked again last night!) with a team I doubt anyone have much of a chance at the beginning of the season versus the seasoned genuinely nice guy who teaches old-style defense and a team with no flash but all guts. Really makes for a good narrative and maybe an instant classic. I love this tournament.
When we played Arkansas in January, Aidoo was the only one nursing a slight injury but he was still available and scored 11 against us. He only scored 6 against TT. They were pretty much fully healthy when we beat them on their home court 71-63 in January.
Golden should post this in the locker room. ESPN thinks Florida Gators might be cooling down in NCAA Tournament
Yeah, I think it was a bit premature to say we were cooling down after beating the previous two time national champions who had won something like 14 in a row. I new UConn would give us their best.
