We also could have easily lost the game. Take away a few extraordinary shots by Clayton in the last few minutes of the game, and we are toast.
Anyone interested in the BYU - Bama game? I think it could be a good one. BYU looks tough and it will probably be a high scoring affair. Kind of wish it wasn't on the same time as our game.
I know this is retrospect, but Bama was a nightmare matchup for BYU. The Cougars are good and tough against other good and tough teams (see IAst), but Bama is a team that can bury them. BYU would do better against TN, but probably not on that level either. Bama is a top ten team and BYU is a top 20.
Yeah, Bama also was unconsicous from 3, so that helps when the other team doesn't offer any resistance.
BYU seemed to think it was a game of horse and just let Bama launch 3s whenever and wherever. Was really odd.
Not so sure. Hogs are hot and Cal has 'em going. Might be better to play the Red Raiders, though it's looking like Hog city. In other news, the Cats are coming back against Duke. Can it be enough?
TT looks tiny compared to Arky. They won’t enjoy that advantage next game. Plus, Thiero isn’t in full game shape. He will be worn out. Oh and Gator Boys stay hot!
My list of legit threats continues to shrink, but this is an unusually chalky tournament . . . Duke Auburn Houston Tennessee Bama Texas Tech Mich St Maryland Kentucky Arizona Missouri Wisconsin Clemson St Johns Lville
Did anyone see they called Arizona for a flagrant foul & literally 30 seconds later, Duke did the same thing and they ruled a common foul. The rules expert couldn't believe they didn't call a flagrant foul. Duke is tough enough to beat, but you have to beat the refs as well.
