Lot of the remaining kids are the expensive NIL kids. 5 stars are the million dollar a year kids and some programs can pay more
Grant, Wondering the same. On3 (Wiltfong) has a TN corner (3 star) he thinks flips to UF. I ain't even gonna try to spell his name, It would be a butcher shop special. Obviously the 5 star lineman (Soloman) at FSU may be a strong flipper candidate. It seems the 5 star recievers (and most of the 5 star guys) are gonna wait until just before signing day. I think if UF puts together a good performance against the Holes, we could see another couple of flips next week. Regarding those 5 star guys, I'm hoping UF gets at least one. What I'm trying to say, is I am thinking 23 before it's all over. I'm no guru, I mainly get my info from this board and I track what the On3 guys and gals are saying on their podcast. But I'm hoping for 23 with at least one 5 star. If that happens I think UF will finish (aro) 12th or so. Not bad considering UF was at what? 52 3 weeks ago.
Well 3 weeks ago the class was rated 51st. Today, it's 17th. Need to continue that upward trajectory and just finish with a win at FSU.
I think this notion should be laid to rest. Based on what I’ve heard/read, UF has the resources to compete with the majors and winning solidifies that further. Talent spreads and look at Texas a&m when they paid tons but didn’t mean an auto championship. Yes, money matters but I think we are plenty competitive.
Lol , no that shows 247 rating, click on "recruiting profile" button and it will show you both 247's and 247 composite of which he is a 4 star.
Correct, this is the composite so that means the avg, which means of the 4 recruiting sites more than 1 of them believe believe he's a 4 star. It's responses like that , that make one wonder why all the bitching about 4 stars or 3 stars if you dismiss a composite 4 star because he got .58 over the 4 star mark but put your nose up to a 3 star that comes a fraction under the 4 star mark.. and tbh, you can't tell me the difference between a High 3 star and low 4 star wrt production and potential ant way so bitching over these rating down to the tenth is silly.
Would you say Alabama or Florida has had better receivers in the past 10 years? I’m not “bitching”. I’m simply pointing out that the odds are more in your favor if you recruit 4 and 5 star receivers. I said in the original post that I hope tounkara beats this trend. I’m not sure what you want except maybe to not point out anything that can possibly be construed as criticism of Napier. It seems you take it personally for some reason.
I think when you consistently pull top five classes, you are competitive and should expect to be in the playoffs and have legit hopes of championships. If we are in the teens, we should expect to compete for a spot in the pjayoffs and a championship would be very unlikely.
