This looks like a reversal of the year Florida had the 5* RB (Cook) and 5* WR (Lane) committed and FSU started poaching our recruits. Man, this feels good.

Pearsall was ok. Dike is looking decent as well. Badger was dropped to a 3 star as a transfer too. He’s pretty ok too. Jean’s biggest issue has been staying healthy. That’s not a star issue.
Pearsall and Dike were transfers already established as productive players. I was talking about players we recruited directly from high school.
Yes, but again, you’re using a very rare example. The odds are against a walk-on receiver turning into an all SEC type receiver. I’m not saying it can’t happen.
Oh, those three stars don't count. Got it. I guess this guy will be unsuccessful because Andy Jean is injury prone. That never happens to guys with 5 stars.
And jackson doesnt count because he wasnt a 3* but a walkon. Of course we want those 5* guys but dont ever count domeone out on the ipinion of recruiting services. Im sure tgeyve watched film of 5* guys and theyve been to camps and carefully evalu but i fail to belive they have studied the guys past 300 or so. They ste just like us. They see we took the kid , then tgey go watch video to figure out who in the hell the kid is.
I thought the post could have easily just ended with "nice to see another flip". Had to add the "but" though.
Pearsall was the only reciever we had. 1rst round draft pick by the San Fransico 49ers. So you say he was ok... and the 49ers invested millions of dollars in him??? I guess it goes to say whose evals do you trust the San Fransico 49ers... or you
Ok I will play along. You probably never played football or coached... and the San Fransico 49ers staff and player evaluation who get paid 5 times as much as you decided to take Ricky Pearsall in the 1rst round and pay him millions of dollars... You say Ricky Pearsall was.... ok I think the word you can't wrap your head around is... Reality
Bruh, I was being a smartass. Can you not see the post I was responding to? Ricky was fantastic, still is.
When it comes to offensive linemen, the stars really don't matter much. If you're a 5*, you're expected to play immediately. The O-Linemen we have been getting have all red-shirted, making them game ready. If they're willing to redshirt, I don't care how many stars they have. Billy likes his O-Linemen to be 6'5" or taller.
