I better not see games at KY, AL, and Auburn with no return trip back to G’ville. That was some bs, and should never happen again.
I believe Kansas backed out of that San Diego MTE. Rady Children’s Invitational announces new venue, 2025 field – San Diego Union-Tribune
Not an "easy" schedule, but metrically one of the easiest of all SEC teams. Or at least that's how it was calculated with about a month to go.
I see it differently: We need to build a reputation for doing just what we did at Auburn this year. That sent a message to the entire world... Your 'house', our 'house'...don't matter none.
I sure hope Condon comes back for these games. He could sure stand to work on his finishing ability to go with his great defense.
So, let's see what spots need to be filled. 31 total games. 13 non-conference and 18 SEC games. 13 Non-Conference 1. FSU (home) - date TBA 2-3. San Diego Tournament (2 of Providence, Wisconsin and TBA) - Nov 28/29 4. Orange Bowl Classic (team TBA) - Dec 13 5. SEC-ACC Challenge (team TBA) - date TBA 6-13. 8 more games TBA 18 SEC Games 15 games - one against each other SEC school 3 games - second games against select SEC schools None yet announced
I think we need to do a Rocky 3 Rock v. Apollo game of the 2025 UF vs 2025 Duke in a dingy, off-track gymnasium to settle the what-ifs.
We might not if they run this thing as home one year and away the next. Duke played at home against Auburn and we played at home versus Virginia so both teams will probably get away games. I'd say either at Kentucky or at Auburn for Duke.
I don't know how it works, but I think the ACC/SEC Challenge games are 1-year things with no return game.
I'm sure if they do match us up against them the game will be in Cameron. However, it will give Duke the opportunity to see next years national champions.
