I like Billy G as a coach and person but other than transfer portal, he was an awful recruiter at the WR position the last few years at UF. Our HS class last year at WR position was much better than what Billy brought in at UF in recent past. Look at the HS WRs he signed or had commitments from that were highly rated and did not have the grades to get into UF. Every program in the country had backed off two of the HS receivers Billy recruited, as they knew they did not have the grades to get into college. Great coach, great person, but his passion for recruiting was not there in later Mullen years. If not for Van Jeff, Grimes and Shorter, he would have been in trouble on recruiting front. Needs to pick it up on the recruiting front under Napier and outwork other staffs. Constant phone, texting, visits to HS, developing relationships with HS coaches, …. He has to be developing relationships with 10th graders and families now. Visibility is the key

He's no longer alone in recruiting... has an "army" of helpers now. :D

Recently rewatched his clips. What impresses me the most are his hands and catching radius. He has great length but also the ability to adjust his body in mid-air and get control of the ball. Looks like the total package.

Can’t wait to see him in Orange and Blue. Dude’s the most electric player since Toney and I don’t think Toney was this polished out of HS.

Don't get me wrong. I enjoyed watching Toney lose 5 to gain 6, but this guy gets up the field quick. Wilson should be able to contribute a lot earlier at receiver than Toney was able to.

I agree on Wilson and I’ll say additionally that I think he is a player the coaches should design quick hitters for. If you watch his workout/practice vids...I don’t think many corners are staying with him after 2 quick cuts. He can go either way and have the QB hit him after a 3 step drop.

Yeah, It took Toney 4 years to put it all together, but man …what a 4th year!

EW definitely more refined at this stage.

Not everybody has Trask hitting them with perfect timing in stride on the proper shoulder.

Rumor some WR target is announcing his commitment tomorrow. Don’t know who the target is or who he is deciding between nor which team he will choose. Basically, this is the least information of any post in this thread. Lol. I’m hoping someone else may know who is set to announce.

Sub 11 second 100m and he looks it in pads. Great return specialist. Wish he was taller. He's a take if we're taking four or five.

I have a dislike for providence day school. It was started by a bunch of good baptists who didn’t want their kids to go to school with the colored kids and the Catholics and the Jews, but mainly the black kids. I think it’s funny that they have black kids playing sports now. Wonder if the make them wear chains in the classroom?

I guess you missed the part in school where people can somehow evolve.

Wrong thread. I’m sure they miss you over in THFSG. No one really evolves over there.

    You were right.

Highlights - the first highlight is interesting. He drops the kickoff, almost trips as he starts to high-step and I think he got flagged for unsportsmanlike.

Kid is fast and loaded with confidence. Welcome.
