When I was looking at the brackets Thursday night, this was literally the most ideal scenario I could dream up for UF with the exception of SC winning. -Two biggest fanbases in Nashville sent home -Only one team left with more rest than Florida -Bubble teams locked up their bids, might have slightly less fire with things 99% settled -UF is now the favorite on their side of the bracket, 2nd highest seed remaining in the whole field
Amazing game. Finally broke the curse of losing at games I attend in person this year. I already bought our tickets for tomorrow. They are dirt cheap with Tennessee and Kentucky losing. Go Gators!
Rock fight we can deal with Rock fight with the current trend of 2 nd half officiating? Much more difficult.
Aubie dominated SC yesterday because SC melts against any kind of chaotic/fast paced play Miss State thrives on that kind of play. Especially their defense.
Time to finally beat A&M. Let's bring our A game & get another Quad 1 W & get to the SECt Finals tomorrow.
Good game right now......20-19 Tigers....halfway through the first half! Also, we have an A&M Game Thread now for those wishing to discuss that game: SECT OGT -- FLORIDA vs. Texas A&M 03/16/2023 (3:30 PM -- ESPN) | Swamp Gas Forums
Miss State should be up by 10-15 but dumb mistakes let Auburn hang around. They have more offensive rebounds than Auburn has total rebounds. That said, State's main offensive threat didnt get going at all in the first half and its hard to keep a good player in check for 2 halves so I bet they're much better offensively in the 2nd half.
Speaking of rock fights, that's the Cowbells/Auburn game today. Hoping for MSU win but think Auburn pulls it out. FWIW, Gators beat both in regular season.
