Been a long time since anyone from Blountstown came to UF but we got two in '78 recruiting class, Curt Garrett and Fernando Jackson. (They also got my mom and her brother back in the forties.)

Why is even posting this? He’s committed to us, making calls to other recruits for us, and yet posts about UK offering him.

They all do. They pick up followers from the schools they post that about. More followers means benefits to them. If you look at a number of the kids who are
Posting about our offers they are committed elsewhere. Like to think Lagway is solid, and I think he is, but I guess you never know.

Both those guys were good players, Fernando was undersized but had great instincts at LB

Kids always post their offers, it's also courtesy to recognize the offer

It seems there are some in the world who respect BN's player evaluations more than some on this board obviously do.

I'm sure his game film got sent out recently, and everybody got to see that what was on his highlights wasn't an anomaly. His highlights are great.

Other than Ruiz swiping a couple from us, how many players who have been COMMITTED have left us for another team in the last two year? If there are any, I can't think of them. Seems like this staff knows what it takes to keep the ones we get on board.

other than Rashada, seems like all of those recruits the coaching staff was almost glad to see them go elsewhere (whether that is a good or bad thing is debatable).

Thanks for the list. I'd say Tyree doesn't count. Nor does Nixon. Creed left, I believe because he wanted a shot at QB and wouldn't get that here (ironically...would he have?). And Rashada was straight up NIL.

So I'd say our coaches are pretty darn good at holding on to kids they want once they commit. Impressive.

It does look like Chauncey is gonna be a battle, though.
