My brother, no coach is that good

 

That's only if you think these guys are inferior according to the rankings. By seeing their highlights you would see there is a lot to work with and considering them shows Raymond has some good evals.

Not that I am alluding that you are inferior either. I haven’t seen your highlights.

 

The young guys look good. I’m not sure any amount of coaching could have made our last couple defenses look good. The talent just didn’t pass the eye test. There were a few players but not enough to put any pressure on an offense.

 

Our last DC didn’t have enough SEC caliber players. Full stop.

 

I have come to the conclusion that CBN and coach Raymond had a common problem. The same one that 3rd and Grantham and CDM had. Jesse's and Joe's. I don't think all of our defensive coaches "forgot" how to coach the last three years, be it under Mullen or Napier. I mean no disrespect but the Gator standard for defense fell off a cliff 3 seasons ago and I don't think the primary reason was coaching.

 

When chauncy was here, they looked pretty decent, pass rush was there also. Since then, lack of talent was obvious
