Oh well...If Rivals says it's OK, it must be true. I mean if you can't trust Rivals, who can you trust?

It’s more of a UF vs. wealthy billionaire with lots of $ to burn battle than anything else… at the moment. If his decision was today I think it would be UF. But we’ve seen last minute nonsense with rich people lately meddling in the NIL game. 17 days …fingers crossed. All we can do.

DJ saw a good game at SC yesterday. Not the SEC and their GameDay experience sucks, but Riley’s offense may be tempting.

This is his first and only visit to USC, I believe. I can’t see him making a choice to go there off one visit, with his decision right around the corner.

I think it comes down to aTm and UF. He’s visited aTm at least 7+ times, if you include camps.

He’s said UF was his favorite school growing up, so there is that.

tamu being 40 miles away ... this will all come down to whether he wants to be close to home or not. He's said all the right things about being OK to leave home and UF but hard to know where the heart really lies. E$pecially the$e day$.

What we’ll sign this year and next, if he commits, has to be better than this tho.

A&M has to appeal to recruits spoiling for playing time. You can play right away. Pick your position.

Nott sure anyone has said that. It’s been said this will be an aTm, UF, and USC battle. Sports Illustrated Director of recruiting told me UF was in good shape, but that this was going to be between the 3 above. He’s visited UF 4 times, aTm a tad more, and USC once. I personally think he’ll pick UF, but as Fox said above, it could come down to proximity to home. I don’t try to get to excited or say things are a shoo-in considering the McCain situation

Various Gator channels were brimming with confidence last week. Cormani level confidence. Worst kept secret confidence. Uh-oh.

for a coach who may not last long? Not sure how we don’t appeal just the same. See my post just above about aTms offensive recruiting woes this year. While thy could be appealing for some, it could be a red flag for others.

Those channels may know more than us and why they claim he’s a shoo in. I’ve learned my lesson.

After last night, betting tamu has a huge case of volsheimers, Jimbo is a genius, they would win every game if they got to play them over, and they're going to win every game next year.

That's absolutely true, and to a lesser extent the same could be said of both UF and Miami. Frankly, I've stopped trying to calculate the total number of potential departures/arrivals that could occur by the end of the 45-day portal window in January. I suppose much will depend on how well we close out with HS recruiting and who pops up in the portal. But it could be a number that even the most jaded observer will find a bit shocking. Stay tuned.

I suspect that the Rashada flip has got to figure into things, to some extent at least. I'm not giving up on DJ by any means, but Jake Merklinger isn't exactly chopped liver either and we seem to be leading for him at the moment. Pearl Harbour day, for good or ill, is right around the corner.
