That's nothing. Taurasi is in her sixth Olympics for the U.S. women. :)

Man that was a great gig that summer of 84 I think. I ate for months at McD for free. Had a friend who worked at one and he would give us stacks of the cards.

Interesting enough that break when big is one of the hardest waves in the world to surf. Yesterday it was small.

I have no idea regarding the location or date of the recording but it certainly wasn't from today's Olympic basketball game. It also appears that a number of people including spectators, other players, team and area staff were entering the arena while the national anthem was being performed. It doesn't really seem be an intentional political statement of the part of James. Not saying that James hasn't done so in the past (I don't know one way or the other) but that video doesn't really portray what the posters (both this board as well as the clown on the site formerly known as Twitter) are alleging.

You think he stoically carried the flag during the opening ceremonies on the bow of a ship in the rain, and then the literal next day intentionally dissed the anthem?

Also looks like he sits down for a few seconds as the usher brings him in, the video cuts off just as he starts to stand up again… and yeah, that definitely has nothing to do with the Olympics.

How about no. But you can opt not to watch. I've waited a long time to see LeBron, Curry, and Durant on the same team.

I don’t watch but that doesn’t mean you don’t stand for the national anthem when you’re representing the US.

Again. You think he carried the flag in the rain for the USA less than 24 hours before and then intentionally didn't stand? Good Lord y'all want to get offended at everything

I don't care what he does during the national anthem. If there's anything that represents American values, it's the right to free speech and protection of dissenting opinions. (That's not even getting into Channing's point.)

Other than whining too much during games, James is a great example of America at its best.

He played an amazing game. He needs to sit during the anthem more!

They get offended at whatever their MAGA overlords tell them to be offended at. Even if it makes zero sense.
