OC: Jake Slaughter- Low 3* (85) 2021 recruit. 2nd lowest rated UF signee. Started all 13 games earning All American honors. RG: Damieon George- Started 10 games. Successful OT convert. RG: Bryce Lovett. Started 2 games and played 290 snaps. Started at RT in the bowl game and played OL 73 snaps. Fr. All-SEC and AP-All bowl Team. RT: Brandon Crenshaw-Dickson- Made 11 starts, appeared in all 12 regular season games; one & done. UF’s best RT since Jawaan Taylor in 2018. KR: RSO Roderick Kearny. Played 96 snaps in 2024. Registered an offensive PFF grade of 80. Played 42 snaps in the bowl game. KR: Kamyrn Waites- Appeared in all 13 games. One start at RT then was exclusively at OG the rest of the season. Washed out at OT, graded out well at OG. KR: Devon Manuel- Appeared in just 3 games due to injury. Played well at LT when he did play. TOS has him competing to start at RT in 2025. KR: Fletcher Westphal- Only played 29 snaps as a true Fr., but it was enough to validate his blue chip status. Projected 2025 backup and 2026 starter at LT. Overview: Grade B. Almost B+, but the 1st game against UM killed it. Big rebound year. Barber and BCD fixed the OT problems. Considering how much he improved the RT position, BCD almost belongs in the Torrence/Armstrong category for one year Gators. Harris and George were good OGs. Slaughter was an All American OC. Lovett established himself as a quality SEC OL. TOS thinks he's competing to be the starting RT in 2025. Except for the 3Q against Ole Miss, the OL was especially good the last three games before the bowl game. 9 of the top 10 (BCD to NFL) and 14 of the top 15 OL return for 2025. Another big eight man recruiting class. BCD graduated and Mike Williams transferred. Leaving 6 returning for 2025. Two high 4* and four 3* signees. 1 hit, 1 miss and 6 no grade. Good stuff. One addition to the group above is Caden Jones who played one less play than Westphal over 4 games and should be a solid backup at OT this year.
Big spring for Jones. We've talked about him a little bit in awesome recruiting. It appears he's behind Lovett and maybe the younger OTs as well. TOS said it looks like Lovett and Manuel are competing for the starting RT job. The talk on the podcasts, for whatever that's worth, has Westphal as the #2 LT and air apparent as the starting LT in 2026. There's some positive buzz around Wangoy too. When it's all said and done the talk and buzz is meaningless. Nick Marcinco's article mentioned some injuries that delayed Jones' development. He'll compete this spring and we'll know the real situation after the spring game.
