Always amazes me when people say literally instead of figuratively when they literally meant figuratively.

Sorry - didn't see a thread for the women's tourney. IA started out great against SC and SC was taking charge in the 2nd/3rd. I'm behind on DVR, but this SC team is full of goliaths. Iowa's Stoelke stands at the shoulder of SC's center. 57 - 53 SC with 5:00 left in the 3rd.
That’s a good and reasonable article. If UConn handles Purdue as they have the others, I will concede this run is better than 2007.
If UConn does win, is it more remarkable that they did so with a different roster from last year? Seriously. I don't know.
I have no problem with UConn winning tonight. It’s pretty clear to me that UConn is the best college basketball team since the Gators 2007 team. As I have previously said, the Gators front court of Noah, Horford, Brewer and a solid bench. is one of the best front courts in the history of college basketball. However, our guards, as good as they were for the Gators, do not stack up to big time college backcourts. I expect UConn to win tonight as I don’t believe that Purdue has the guards necessary to contain UConn‘s guards. However, if Edey gets Clingan into foul trouble, then that could change the tone of the game.
I almost forgot about the game tonight. Busy day but also indicative of a lack of interest on my part, I gues. I look forward to it though as it's the last one of the season, regardless of who's playing.....
Is traveling 4 or 5 steps in college now? I know it came back down to 6 or 7 in the NBA after Jordan retired. I've been confused ever since the refs gave South Carolina 7 steps in our last Elite 8 game several years back.
I'm kind of the opposite. I feel like our guards were just as good, but where we'd be severely outmatched is at center. Micah is my guy, but I don't think it's picking on him to say he can't give you a 30 or 40 point game like Edey. I think Edey would have a huge game againt us. Condon is going to grow offensively, but it would be a tough ask for him to go toe to toe with Edey giving up that much size.
Purdue needs to somehow start hitting 3’s or they’ll go under by double digits .Edey cant beat UConn alone.
