2024 NCAA Men's basketball tournament

They had 33 free throws on 23 fouls called against us. Colorado and Marquette COMBINED for 15 free throws and 21 fouls.

 

A definite memo went out from someone about the fouls, they are way down the past couple of days.

 

Anyone watching Alabama/Grand Canyon?

Why is there always a player on the opposing team get hurt when playing Alabama?

1 bloody nose so far...13 minutes to go in the 1st half.

 

and 6 of those fouls happened in the last <3 minutes

 

Now this........

I know. Got worse than a bloody nose too.

The officiating is who we all need to blame here.

Looks like Bama will win, but jeeze, this game was physically challenging.

 

Aggies tied with Houston

 

Wild game, but that one guy on Grand Canyon kept trying to be the hero and down the stretch he couldn't make a shot. There's bery little passing the ball on their team. Just relentless hustle and one on one play. But they missed way too many free throws to win.

 

Good Lord Houston and TAM....TAM just in bounded it with 1.2 secs left and tied it with a 3 to send it to OT!

But what if that 3 had been an "and 1"?

On to OT.....what a battle!

 

Cougars take it in OT......another tight game!

 

They took it in OT with four players fouled out.

That kid, Ryan Elvin.......can you imagine the stress he must have had at that FT line....game on the line......dependent on his free throws!

 

A&M missed 16 free throws. oh my

 

SEC got 8 teams in - 5 lost their first game, 1 lost their 2nd game and only 2 made it to the Sweet 16 - Tennessee & Alabama.
