I like our 2nd round draw if we win. 7 was too damn low if Auburn got a 4.

I'm good with this. A winnable first game and it's a Friday matchup so we have an extra day to get over the 4-day SECT and work through the trauma of losing Micah.

If we can get there, I assume that PG for Marquette will be back for the tournament, that will be a tough test.

Agree, I know the mood on here is generally subdued after the events of the day but it wasn't too long ago we were concerned about actually getting into the tournament! Hopefully we can regroup and get on a roll again, it is exciting to be back in the show!

Bama gets a 4 seed after we kicked their butts 2 games in a row and Gators get a 7 seed. Something wrong there.

Why would Bama get a 4 seed because Handlogten got injured?

That one doesn't show who our opponent will be. There is another one showing either TCU or Mich State. Hope it's Michigan state, you KNOW TCU fans will fill the stands.

No I understand we are a 7 seed but even if Handlogten affected our seeding (although it shouldn’t) how does his injury explain Bama getting such a high seed when Gators kicked their respective asses. Doesn’t matter at this point, just win and advance.

That TAMU - Houston matchup in round 2, if it happens, will be a slugfest.

Body of work and NET/SOS counts more than head to head by the selection committee. Alabama has the #1 SOS in D1, #14 in RPI, #9 in NET. That's what they go by and it's intentional to encourage teams to play tougher OOC schedules. Our NET is #26, SOS #31, RPI #27.

The committee has us ranked #25 overall - one short of a 6 seed.

I like our potential match w Marquette compared to the other 2 seeds.
