Gators fell 5 spots from 28 to 33 with the win over Mizzou. It didn't help that Miss State fell out of Q1 win status and Ole Miss fell to Q2 loss status.
0-5 or 1-4 = bubble but in at 12 seed 3-1, lose and SECT game = 5-6 seed, expecially if we don't lose the 1st SECt game
"We project the Gators with a 20% chance to make the Sweet Sixteen and a 2% chance of making the Final Four."
Yeah, right now UF is at +7,500 or 75:1 to win it all. Just dropped 10 bucks to win $750. Why not, right?
Gotta be up there in the greatest shots in tournament history. Game winning three point floater that he had to dribble through traffic all the way from the opposite baseline to get off. Took off from the 3 point line, released the shot at the foul line. Perfect swish. Dead quiet in the arena. Stunned crowd. Erupts into chaos.
One of my most memorable moments as a Gator. I really remember being "down" in spirit after Wiscy took the lead. I was 100% certain that we were done and we had ZERO chance of tying that game, much less winning it. It was soooooo sweet! I'm going to watch it a few more times....
Well I'm a little slow .............. I did not realize just how catastrophic losing quad 2 or 3 games are for teams trying to get in the dance. One thing about our Gators, at least we have not lost to teams we should "beat". I have to question the above graphics about S Carolina - UF is favored to beat them on the road? That will be a rock throwing WAR on Saturday. I'm a bit uncertain UF will snare that one. I would rather beat BAMA if given the choice. I'm still pissed at the zebras for that mugging!
