just making the statement is all. even splitting those, would give us a really nice record. The refs won the game at Wake for them and we had it for the taking against Tammy.

 

I look at the Tammy game as us being gassed by the OT at Kentucky. We just ran out of juice in the 2nd half and still had a pair of wide-open shots for the win in the last possession that just wouldn't go down.

 

Give Buzz some credit as a coach. He turned the game into a rock fight in the second half and that gave his team a chance to win. The basketball gods smiled on them that night.

Yeah it is one that got away but that happens.

 

Joey Lunardi just put us as a 6 seed

 

I think we have a shot at better than a 6, but I'd probably take that when it's all said and done. 3-1 to end the year or better and I think a 5 is on the table, maybe even a 4 should we really finish strong.

 

12 vs 5 curse..would have mixed emptions about that one

 

Yeah same, I'd take the 6 and be happy with it

 

Anything lower than 7 greatly increases our chances at the second weekend as you avoid the 1 and 2 seed on the first weekend.

 

I saw one prediction that had us possibly matching up with Duke in the 2nd round as a 6v3. I would take that all day.

Yeah, that potential match up & location scares me. After seeing what happened with UVA & Wake in Charlotte, you’d have a hard time convincing me that ACC home cooking won’t come into play….and especially if matched up with the Golden Child Heels.

 

The next 4 games will be telling. Mizzou hasn't won a conference game yet but they have been playing team close. We better be ready. S>car is at home so we will have more fouls called on us. Plus we don't as well against physical teams. Alabama can score. But it is at home. And the Vandy game is no gimme especially there. Their home court is just weird. I be amazed if we go 4-0 or 0-4 but not with anything in between.

 

Glad we have Mizzou at home. I bet they knock someone off before the regular season is over and I hope it's not UF!
I'm excited because this would be SEC win #10. A winning %.
And of course if we win 3 of the next 4 it's not impossible we get that double bye.

 

We are a good team, but as many have said MIZZ will not be a cakewalk and we cannot afford to overlook any team. Even Vandy is dangerous if they get inspired or you come out expecting them to hand you a win.

 

Yeah oneatatime, but we got jobbed both times. I got tired of watching both UVA and Wake get paraded to the FT line.

Mike Morgan likes that Mizzou has not quit and seems to play hard every game for their coach.
"Mike was on Shane's podcast yesterday talking about basketball".
He said the same thing Murp, can't sleep on these guys.

Every game is so crucial now. UF cannot take a bad loss here. Hopefully Golden earns his check tonight
and has the kids ready.

4-0 lose SETCG = 4 to 5 seed

3-1 win SECT = 4 seed
