I looked at Kentucky's schedule. They play Alabama and Tenn twice and play Auburn and Florida once but get both at home. As good as the SEC is this year I don't see anyone having a easy schedule. I didn't look at Tenn but I know they play Kentucky and Florida twice. Florida did get Auburn, Kentucky and Alabama only once each but all are on the road. Funny how that worked out but I guess it is better than having to play them all twice.
Welcome to the SEC, you get the tough schedule since you're new. Oh wait, that's what we should be saying to the likes of Texas or OU, not a founding charter member from 1932 that has won 2 national titles.
You’re mistaken about Tennessee, and intentional or not , SEC screwed us . Given the parameters that exist, you’d have to work pretty hard to come up with a worse home schedule- only 1 blockbuster game (Tenn) No Au, no Bama ( we crushed both at home last yr) and no UK. I was considering it anyway, but this years home schedule clinched my decision to give up my season tix
So then why exactly is everyone complaining about our schedule again? We should pick a horse in this UF victimization.
Not even that, we have plenty of our "fans" who like to poor mouth our team and prop both of them up.
Home only-Missouri, Texas, Vandy, OKie, A&M, Ole Miss Road only-Kentucky, Arky, Auburn,MSU, LSU, Bama Both-Tennessee, USCe, Georgia. In addition to us playing most of the favorites on the road only, it makes no sense that both Kentucky and Arky are in early January.
Depending how the SEC tournament plays out, we might end up playing Kentucky just after New Year’s, and not play them again until 2026
