agreed. I do hate it but low key i think the NCAA is probably sitting back like “see!!! Told you all this would happen!!!”. Pandora’s box is open, it’s going to get worse from here on out smh
It's odd toe Yeah they pretty much threw up their hands and stuck out their tongues a couple of years ago.
The ncaa, which is the same as saying the schools, had a chance to get out in front of all this. They chose to sit on their hands and fight for years instead of trying to come to some kind of an agreement that works for both sides. They lost the war and this is what they got. Now the athletes hold all the cards and have no reason to negotiate terms that are better for the schools.
That will make momma upset for his not getting QB1 reps. He will not get more carries at Georgia or Bama. He will get less than he would here if he had been healthy all year. I have to think he just has too many in his ear to make a logical decision. I'll eat my crow if he is at Georgia next year with 200 carries.

But they literally had very similar carries. ETN missed a game and had he not their carries would have been damn near identical. And they pretty much alternated week to week who got the lions share. Johnson did a little better than ETN down the stretch aside from the LSU game. It's not like he rode the bench. The carries were about as even as you could get considering he missed the vandy game. It was never a RB2 scenario more like a RB1(a) and RB1(b) deal.
I think the family expects him to become as big a star in college as his brother. I bet he goes to a top 10 school that has lost their RB1.
Just look at the rb stats in the SEC. Everybody that can recruit, including Bama and Georgia, splits their carries between a rb1a and 1b, not a lions share to a rb1. That's kind of a thing of the past and for good reasons to the team and the player's future.
