Just saw an OU insider put in a CB for Dijon Johnson flip. It’s awesome but I hate when insiders put that stuff out there.

He was confirmed on campus recently, I think this is where Parker is getting his opinion from. Still wait and see.

 

And Treyaun Webb teasing him on Twitter. Like he would put out the news before the guy if he really knew he was flipping.
I don't get people getting hyped on just that and not waiting to hear from him before looking like fools. DB is probably our strongest area too. I'd actually be more concerned staff knows cmc ain't coming.

Not feeling good on Cormani with all these other corners being recruited and committing. How many CBs are we planning to take?

 

It would stink to miss out on CMC but if your fall back ends up being the next best CB in the state and still a Top 10 CB nationally that’s pretty good. Even if we only took 3 CBs this year Johnson, Jackson, and Denson would all be in the top 20-25 in the country not bad.

 

You do know that Denson Dijon and Cormani play on the same 7on 7 team with Hawkins per another poster on this site can’t find the info to confirm but 7 DB is what I am hearing we take

No, I did not know. That would certainly help with Cormani if they all play together and if they do end up flipping to UF. However, a player ranked like Cormani is going to have bags of cash offers from other places and that probably mean more than going to the same place as his buddies.

With all that said, I’m super happy with who we’ve brought in already at the position and who we are rumored to get. Even if we don’t get Cormani I think we will be fine. It would just be nice to real in some of these really big fish that keep alluding us this 2023 cycle.

I read that McClain is committing in December. I like the approach of filling out your DB class beforehand. If he signs then thats fantastic and if not then you still have a really good (almost elite?) group.
