I think if you want to hold on to great recruiting wins you have to show that you can do more with less at times or it’s not believable. We have two O line coaches, no O coordinator and no special teams coach. It kinda shows.

Why are we now starting to use trick plays as regular plays? Way too many.

They were behind him but 3 had their backs to the ball. They good, but not that good.

 

The first drive was a well-scripted thing of beauty. Things have deteriorated since half-way through the second quarter and UGly may be able to name it's score today - expect it to be a big one if they can do it. This game is going to hurt for quite a while if a miracle doesn't happen (it won't), and if we share anything around here as a group it's our angst and frustration with being "average". But I've been a Gator homer for six decades and I've seen both better and worse. The dwags are superb, the best in the country, IMO. Frankly, we are struggling to attain low spectrum "averageness" with a young, somewhat "hastily assembled" squad. This team must come together, again, get off the ground and figure some things out and win AT LEAST ONE, and hopefully two games. I'm keeping my powder dry, because not to do so is foolish at this early stage of a rebuild, BN must have the time to attract the talent and develop both staff and players. If we can't compete at a higher level, coming out of the '25 season. it will be troubling. But anything earlier than that would be irrational, no matter how bad this game gets or how much you may miss Mullen's Halloween costumes.

 

I agree with the sentiment but it the O line play certainly doesn’t show this.
