That should have been a no-call - the ruling on the play should have stood. There was NOT enough evidence to overturn that call. His opinion and subsequent ridiculous spotting of the ball afterwards was outrageous. It's the same idiot who said 4th down for Ga. after the offsetting penalties when they clearly got the first down. That incompetent ref should be in the stands or sitting at home.

Schadenfreude?

 

There’s a narrative here that’s being executed this season. There hasn’t been a three-peat champion since Minnesota did it from 1934-1936. It’s been 87 years since a team has accomplished that. UGA will do that this season, they have the media, NCAA and the SEC in their side. Sure, UGA is talented and well coached, but something is fishy here. Their winning streak is unprecedented, they seem to always have their opponents’ plays sniffed out and they always seem to get the benefit of the doubt calls when they’re being seriously challenged.

 

UCF loses again.

there classes were barely top 20. This is first year they are inside top 15 in recruiting. They are winning because of the players they got through the portal. Staring QB, starting TE, both starting WR, and starting RB all came via the portal.

 

2 bad, life in a better conference

 

Like it matters? We're behind by 19 points at the HALF! Nah, this is a tried a true Florida tradition going back to when Charley was roaming the sidelines (at least in my memory) and doubtless has been going on long before. It was a very questionable call, but again, this isn't The Swindle or the 2004 Tennessee game, where victory was snatched out from under us due to the officials.

And at least Florida had a legitimate excuse in 1984. Yes, we cheated, but Dooley, Majors, Dye, Vaught, Bowden, etc. weren't exactly speaking with any moral authority. They all cheated.

 

I can’t say I disagree but that’s not. What’s losing this game. We’re getting beat by a better team with much better line play.
