The more time goes on, the more I get the feeling that Napier is a good play caller when it comes to scripting plays.

When he has to adjust and call plays based on game flow, he seem to have big problems. It seems to be more glaring against the above average defenses.

 

Good Lord. Implosion Ville here. Settle th fook down and play some serious ball. Etienne 's missed block. Mertz's loosey goosey ball security. Facemask. Can;'t give it to the #1 team. Rant over.

Both lines of scrimmage are completely outmanned. No easy fix either.

 

They probably do the same thing Michigan is being accused of.

Oh well. I’m not surprised. Still a bad team with a lot of youth and warts. Good teams like UGA are gonna exploit it. Crappy teams like Carolina are gonna make you feel good. Still a 5 maybe 6 win team.

Georgia is looking like they want to see us not gain another 1st down for the remainder of the game.

 

Well somewhat, but we also could have punted the ball and played the long game. We could have run the ball instead of a wildcat throw call. We could have protected our QB. The ref made a terrible call, but we took that bad call and made it 10x worse.

 

Or just ask himself "What would Saban do here?"

76 is really good at being there at the end of the play to pickup our RB

 

Florida doesn’t have the talent to straight up beat Georgia unless there are lots of turnovers or Georgia self destructs. We have not been good at causing turnovers. I’m guessing Napier is dialing up trick plays because frankly, we are not likely to beat Georgia straight up. They have 13 5 stars. We have one (Jason Marshall who got torched earlier). Just a fact.

we maybe keep the game closer by playing it by the book. But it is big plays and I guess trick plays that would actually help us win. That 4th down call….if it works I’m guessing it could be a td on 4th and 1 vs a 1st down if you run the ball.

now it looks like the trick plays back fired and we are gonna get steam rolled.
