Rooting for Stanford. A far better school than ATM and we have enough real SEC teams already in the Supers. Healthier for the sport to send Texas to Palo Alto, I have decided.

The last four tournaments have kept supers in line with CWS (1/4/5/8 on one day, 2/3/6/7 on the other). Not consistent whether 1/4/5/8 or 2/3/6/7 goes first and I can't find how or when that's decided. Warren Nolan (link: Live Scoreboard - College Baseball | WarrenNolan.com) has the Gators' side as a Sat/Sun/Mon.

    EDIT: just saw this:

Yep, I normally cheer for public schools over private schools, but the Aggies are an exception. Not a fan.

Thanks for that. The Nolan site doesn't follow the 2/3/6/7 same day since he has Virginia starting on Friday and Florida on Saturday. Perhaps he has these games as placeholders until the announcements are made.

Weird seeing Bama in a SR and not Vandy or Arkansas, who were much better teams in regular season. Interesting that Bama is playing better once they lost their coach.

I suspect Bama will have a short stay vs Wake, but we will see.

Virginia and TCU are the 2 teams that scare me.

2 of the better pitching staffs. I picked Wake to win it all, but wont bother me if Bama beats them,,as long as they dont win it all..lol

who will be playing at home between Tennessee and Southern Miss?...Here are some clues

Longtime USM coach Scott Berry is retiring at the end of the season after 23 years. The super regional could mark the end of his retirement tour, which didn't begin until Berry announced his retirement in mid-May. Tennessee also is not exactly the golden child of college baseball, having earned a reputation with on-field antics in recent seasons.

Tennessee baseball to face Southern Miss in super regional, host uncertain

Both teams have been killing it. TCU especially has been on an absolute tear.

Several members of my family went to Aubarn while most of us went to UF. AU’s hatred of Bama trumps their feelings for any other SEC schools. I don’t believe AU fans/alumni hate UF like many other SEC schools fans do. (jealousy/resentment/hatred of winners syndrome)
My AU family were fans of the two UF basketball teams that won the NCAA in the halcyon years.

Why i only associate w/ the non football ones..lol Couple of Bama obssessed guys,, but most like me.. either couldnt care less what Bama does , or root for them if doesnt hurt AU.

I root more for the HCs I like as oppossed to names on front of jerseys.

Only other program Au should be jealous of last 50 years is Uga..lol and thats just last 20 or so.. Have beat rest as much as been beaten, inculding Bama,,roughly .500 since Bear retired. But again, thats more football related.

So Miss was just out of the top 16 in the first place. They were always going to host, despite Tennesee whining about it.

I wonder why TCU is hosting Indiana St. when Indiana State was the #14 seed and TCU wasn't seeded?
