2023 NCAA Baseball Regionals Schedule/Scores/Discussion

Amazing that Saturday Okie State will face Dallas Bapt and Auburn will face So Miss in elimination games. The winner of the OSU Region goes to Vanderbilt for the Super. Looks like Vandy gets another big gift in the playoffs.

 

Ugh, c’mon Titans! Pitchers not throwing strikes will get ya killed.

 

Game tied 3-3 in the 8th. Bama wearing their camo caps.

 

Nicholls trying really hard not to win this one. Still 3-3 going to the bottom of the 9th.

 

Complete game win for Skenes, 124 pitches. Mission accomplished I guess. Got the win and saved the bullpen.

 

see how that works out for LSU if they make it to the Super Regionals. Even with a week between starts, that's a lot of pitches even for Sandy Alcantara.

Sometimes they don't care how far they make them travel. Particularly if it's Florida. Like UF girls to Stanford.

 

Auburn loss surprising and a little embarassing. They were questionable hosts for sure.

 

Embarassing for who exactly? If you say SEC,,then good..lol I personally had zero issue w/ it,,well played/pitched game. One bad decision to leave RP in a batter to long was the difference basically.

if SEC # 5 was questionable what was #s 6, 7 & 9??

 

Ive watched Auburn a couple times this year and thought "man if this team gets hot they can go to Omaha". There are other times Ive watched them and been extremely underwhelmed. Very strange dynamic with them for me.

 

Could say the exact same thing about us.

 

For SEC, Auburn. With their AD being such a big part of committee obviously some of the well-known college baseball guys were questioning them hosting. I thought they were deserving.

maybe your forgetting that I’m the one after we play them early in the year that said, I really like them with regards to how pesky and persistent they are… I said they were severely underrated. I’m not sure if those were my exact words but I think you get the point that I just want to make sure you remembered that I was the one that said I like them.

i’m not saying they have to win the regional just saying it would be embarrassing for an SEC host to not at least make the finals.
I’m rooting for them just surprised at that loss.

 

They were hot ..for last 5 weeks of regular season.. If dont stay that way, its usually a 180 the other way..

CWS is not even a thought at this point obviously. But they are a streaky team.. 9 straight wins, now 3 straight losses.. Get to Monday & never know .. If not, 3 CWS out of last 6 is still better than most.

I think the Horns one was a little better.. Looked like the ball was already past him when he dove. Crazy thing is he almost over dove it..ball hit in palm of glove

 

It was pretty respected dude. Kendall Rogers I think.
