I apologize- not sure this is relevant... We've discussed this in detail before, but I have to reflect back to it again because I too get choked up, in real time, and reflecting back. Ever time I drive by a military federal cemetery, I'm amazed at how many gravestones there truly are...That's just one here near UCLA. They are all over the World. Dad: Sargent WWll Patton's 3rd Army Uncle: Full Colonel Air Force WWll Pentagon Mother In Law: Captain Army/Nurse RN Korea-Europe Father in Law: Navy WWll Pacific Theater Brother In Law:Navy /NY State Trooper/detective Nephew: Leftenant: Marines/Law Enforcement 1st Gulf War Uncle: Marines-Pacific Theater WWll Other Uncle: WWll - Air Force- Europe Me: Woodstock Rock festival -Upstate NY- 1969 - details fuzzy - Vietnam Draft number 225 (they only went to 185 in my area- I did not enlist! I was eyeing the airborne division and wanted to be a seal for a minute) I was a PADI Divemaster, Skydiver, Martial Artist, Marksman... I pray for our service members all the time, I always stop and acknowledge our servicemen and women, Airmen, Law Enforcement. When my mom was alive she lived near Destin in a town called Niceville. Other family members in Pensacola, a constant parade of servicemen and women. Hurlburt Field, Destine AFB, Pensacola Naval Air Station... God Bless America. Go Army Go Navy- Go service men and women! Go Gators
Gary Danielson was right about that punt hitting returner's foot (so shoulda been a TD for Army), but I'm glad they didn't rule it so. Cheap TD, and it's a better game without it. Jmho/fwiw
