Anyone hearing anything for the class of 23. Less than a month til signing day and 0 commitments. Considering the number of seniors on the roster that's a bit concerning. Gotta think we need at least 3 freshmen and maybe a transfer or two. We need an infusion of talent in the younger classes IMO. Hopefully we have a few commitments ready to announce and spring them all at once. Concerned if not.
Couple of big announcements coming up. We have a minimum of 2 spots open and several guards who are seniors so one or both of these would be HUGE! finished 2nd in that race, but it was a good fight we put up. Kelly seems to be swinging for the fences or striking out..no inbetween with her.
Think MSU probably leads, but we really need to land one here. I don't know of any other potentials out there.
Not aware of any other high schoolers we are in on, but that doesn't mean we aren't because you hear nothing on many, but also out of the loop on international players currently. Do we just take Laila? We could, but I'd like to find one more. I honestly have no clue how many spots we have... one for sure but could have as many as 6. I think we will go after at least 2 transfers. Give me 2 of Zippy(doubtful), Nina, KK, and Leilani back and get 2 F/C of the caliber of our last 5 additions and we are Top 10 material.

Dominique Onu, G out of UCLA into the portal. Think she was fairly highly rated out of high school and from Jacksonville, Florida. A name worth keeping an eye on IMO. She would be a good fit and would come in as a RS JR next season if we pursue/land her. We know we have Matharu, Rimdal, Warren, Reynolds and Perry for next season as of now. If two of Rickards, Deans, or Correa come back with a COVID year we probably don't need anyone, but if 2 leave I'd like to see us add one guard.... might want to take her anyway. Never too many guards!
Can someone tell me why the thread title changed from 2023 Class... especially when we got a commitment a few weeks back? Changing it back.
East, is Correa injured? Didn’t see her tonight in Oklahoma game. A shame we were without our three best players, Zippy, Correa and Merritt. Hope the latter two are able to return soon.
