Love that closing speed to the ball… REALLY love the double move that he did with precision

 

LOL, despite all the times I've been wrong about a recruit, I'm gonna shout it if he lights it up this year. Because I'm that self deceptive...

Andy Jean is the man. Hard worker and will see the field before our two other WRs that were ranked above him.

Mizell is reportedly starting to show up too.

 

Think he is quicker than Van, but he will have to be a pro before he is as good a route runner as Van in college. He was elite.

 

I hate Spring hype. Always disappointed come season.

 

Oh schytt, Doc, knock back a quart of half-way decent whiskey, put your feet up (while you still can) and chill the hell out. Spring is for fantasies about unicorn QBs and epic turnarounds that inspire legends for decades if not centuries. Besides, if you wear yourself out anticipating disappointment this early in the going, you'll be too numb to fully appreciate the misery of the disappointment that will come about as a result of the preposterously optimistic fall hype. One has to pace oneself.

I hear you. Maybe we should change this old saying to: “spring practice hype eternal”

“Hope Springs Eternal” is a confidence that what we expect will happen, and we can wait for it with peace and joy. Such hope outweighs and overwhelms current circumstances, whatever they may be.

 

Ignorance is bliss and I prefer having hope. We have had surprise seasons before. Maybe we win ten games and go to a ny6 bowl. I’ll be happy and I don’t expect that at all but I do have hope.

 

Was told he runs precise routes...that he doesn't "look" like a freshman..I think he will be a starter..

 

I’ll take a 799 yarder tho

 

Are we confident we have someone that can’t get him the ball?

 

I never expect a freshman to start, now matter how well they do in the spring but at this point, Pearsall is the only sure starter. The outside spots are up for grabs.
