Hard to believe Tim Elko didn't get drafted until the 10th round #311.

 

We made it thru the 10th round...

 

I dont think thats disputed. Corbin being why is extremely debateable. Under achieving may be an exaggeration( i could argue it though,,,lol),, but I certainly wouldnt expect any less results considering.

 

AU committ Johnathan Brand just drafted in 8th.. Hes gone per his twitter comments,, but you already told me that didnt you..

They don’t waste top 10 round picks. The best 316 or whatever players weren’t drafted but nearly every last one will sign a contract. It is what it is…

There will still be a few surprises in the 11-20th rounds.

 

Yeah, I feel pretty good about it to be honest BUT it feels like there are a bunch of HS kids that didn’t get drafted yet and UF doesn’t have many. I don’t follow recruiting so no clue which schools are benefitting from those HS players.

 

yeah im not sure status on rest of committs, as far as if told MLB theyre going to school regardless. Brand obv not one of those.

 

Interesting to me the Gators had 2 in the 1st round, 2 in the 2nd, and 2 in the 3rd. Gladly no one after that so far.

 

Brand was the Miami(Oh) tranfer that lead nation in ERA.. I cant keep all the names straight..lol I never expected he'd show up actually. As of now all the HS commits still expected to show.

I believe Vandy lost more HS recruits than most, as usual.

 

they were at 7 through first 70 picks i think.

 

I know this is not the draft but I didn't want to start a new thread. I thought I was going to watch the Homerun Derby tonight, but I just can't do it. It's just way to much hype for the first 10 minutes. Who in the world thinks baseball needs flame cannons and fog shooting off just to introduce the players. You would think its some second rate college football game getting ready to start between the Miami Hurricanes and the Florida State Seminoles.

 

yep its pretty pointless. not to mention juiced balls & bats(IMO)

Sometimes ill gamble on it and watch sometims I wont lol.

id watch a bunting contest first, more skill involved. ,, they have those in Japan league.
