First two rounds tonight. Thompson is likely going tonight and Fabian has a good shot tonight.

Anyone else? Sproat and Barco are possibles but would likely be late.

The draft is all about signability. Before the draft, players and/or their advisers put out a number on what it will take to sign and it is up to MLB teams to decide if they want to meet those demands.

Need to remember the players being selected the next few days aren’t necessarily the most talented players available.

Rocker actually went #3 this year, wow, that’s bizarre!

    3.

    Rangers

Kumar Rocker, RHP, Tri-City Valleycats: Rocker, who previously suffered from overexposure, was absent from most of this year's cycle after the Mets failed to sign him following his selection at No. 10 overall in last year's draft. He resurfaced recently in the Frontier League, running his fastball up to 99 mph and overwhelming indy-league hitters with a 70-grade slider. Heraclitus said that no man steps in the same river twice, for neither he nor the river are the same. Even if Rocker was the same -- and he's not, if only in age -- the river has changed. The industry was already skeptical about him because of his lagging changeup and the potential command and durability concerns created by his mechanical deficiencies; now, there's also the matter of last summer's post-draft physical that caused the Mets to bail. We have to write that it does feel silly to obsess over what could go wrong with Rocker's arm in a draft where almost every other top pitcher already has an elbow zipper.

The guy sitting in the middle of ESPN's panel is that Gator Hating FSU grad.

Remember him well making Gator derogatory comments during the College World Series we won.

Karma exists. He had to sit there providing commentary as the Gators got the World Series title his Noles could never attain.

    Life is good.

In theory, NIL allows anyone to offer unlimited full rides in baseball now. Vandy now getting the pitching reputation Sully had a few years back

Yeah, but its still 'new'.. Most say very little in baseball yet. Iv heard of a few schools so far(MSU, AU) that have already implemented it a little

Has nothing to do w/ vandy, who probably has zero NIL for baseball if had to guess
.. but IMO the NIL will put Vandy baseball back with rest of their programs.
