He has a headline at the bottom saying he has signed. I assume his bonus was extremely small so maybe the lack of bonus data means he didn’t get one? Not sure

Just finishing the 7th inning in Game 2 against LSU and Kowar is warming up in the bullpen. Good game so far but I'm feeling really nervous. Dyson should be a dominant pitcher for us in the years to come.

Here is the thing there, Kowar doesn’t come out of the pen. Sully really needs to think this through. Who would pitch Game 3??? I don’t know; this makes me very nervous.

    Agreed on Dyson.

Wait, you mean there's a Game 3 I still have to get thru. Oh shoot, that means Sproat has an extra 90 minutes once 5 PM gets here to decide. You're not helping.

Not sure what number is accurate-- but last number I saw -- Mets have some $136k remaining in their pool. If they were to agree on $1m they would be over by $863k which puts them over the 5% threshold - meaning 100% luxury tax plus loss of 1st round pick next year- no way they do it.

I am not sure what Sproat's thought process was but toward the end of the year he pitched way better than his draft position. Add a so-so changeup to his mix of pitches as long as he keeps command of the two seamer that he showed late and he will be a first round pick. Even without the change he will draft higher as long as he continues to show command of the two seamer. Add a good change and he will be golden.

The kid has an arm. Can we develop it correctly?
