I can't, but at least Okie has that, and tornadoes which are better than anything in Nebraska. Plus, the great novel, "The Grapes of Wrath". Nebraska, not so much.

 

The state tree is the telephone pole.

 

That's because it's the most scenic, attractive, and taller than a cornstalk thing in the state.

 

Nebraska is paying the price for firing Frank Solich. Under him was the last time they were consistently good. They fired him in a year they won 10 games. They won 58 games in the six years he was their HC. They haven't had a span of six years with that many wins since.

Probably the only programs I despise more than Nolledge U, are fsu and scum.

 

I don't anymore but I do despise the pass they got for selling their souls and playing Phillips in the title game. Also winning their 3rd title off of that illegal kick fluke TD against Missouri I think it was. Then Grossman getting robbed because of a Heisman.

You didn't mention the Tony Green TD in the 1974 Sugar Bowl that was called back because the referee said he stepped out of bounds when replay clearly showed he didn't. Cost us the game.

If Aranda left Baylor for Nebraska then two things happened.

1. Nebraska broke the bank.
2. Aranda was using a disgusting amount of cocaine.

That crooked ref came from the other side of the field to call him out too. The ref running behind Green along the sideline who could clearly see the play called it a TD. Yet, he was overruled by the ref who couldn’t see it. Welcome to crooked officiating in 1974
