She was in the portal prior to the season and hasn't been back to her normal self. Throw in her BF being so far away and her Twitter follows... just not surprising to me.
I understand now, but seems like her priorities are not in order, is that really her main focus. ? If so that's not good, way too talented, she shouldn't waste it.
What? Maryland is one of the best WBB programs in the country. UF is not and will probably have a new staff next year. If she wants to maximize her future in basketball, it is likely a very good move. I couldn't begrudge her (or any of our other players) the opportunity given the issues in our program during her time here.
Anyway... Is it just me or has Faith Dut quietly become a real force for the Gators? I didn't think she had much of a future when I watched last season and early this season.
I understand that Maryland is a good program, and I never lead you to believe I was saying Briggs making transfer to Maryland is lateral move or step back. Florida actually for the circumstances they have faced has so far played above expectations, and going to Maryland doesn't automatically mean the grass will be greener. I do wish her well. Go Gators!!!
I think that might be a bit of a stretch for a post averaging 4 points and 1 rebound per game lol. That said, I agree, she looks much more polished and skilled than in years past. It does seem to me that she's also been struggling most of the season with nagging injuries, which maybe have kept her from producing more consistently. Would be awesome if we see the production from the Alabama game the rest of the way.
I remember when Faith came in, she was listed as former Canadian National team she did not look like she was comfortable on the court, I asked one of the assistant coaches what up answer was she was a bench warmer / practice plaer etc she has worked very hard to learn, Zada helped her a lot to get her started
