The problem with plays like that is the OL isn't good enough to sustain their blocks and Franks isn't good enough to anticipate the throw. It results in Franks holding the ball and waiting, which is going to result in holds and sacks. Franks has to read it, trust it, and air it out.

Oline, play like mean a$$ men on this drive. Maul and pound the D into the ground!

 

Sure would be nice if we knew what this offense looked like with Trask and the 1's.

 

More Grimes, more Toney, more Swain and can we see a little Pierce.

And, if Franks can't make the read in the run game, ditch that part and just go traditional run game.

Our only two real stops have been compliments of the dropped ball. This time a dropped ball and a receiver falling down alone in the open field.

Complaining a lot, but I am very happy to be in this game right now. The team is making a ton of mistakes, not remotely the same focus on the road as they had last week, but they're still fighting on every down and still one play from taking the lead.

Win or lose, I think it's time for Dan to make some personnel moves next week, if not in this game. Some guys are getting clearly outplayed by their backup, and have all year.

 

UF has get a lead and put the pressure on MSU...the pressure is on them..

 

The read option won't work if Franks won't pull the ball.
