Charleston Southern finished 1-11. With losses to a couple of teams i have never heard of. That was half of FSU's wins
Unless Mid Crybaby Mike grabs the best portal class in CFB history they could be worse next season! NorveLLLLLLLLLL has destroyed that program and hope he is there forever!!
When I listen to Mike Norvell's pressers he keeps talking about FSU - who they ARE and who they ARE NOT. I have been waiting for a reporter to say: Mike, are you the "coach" of this team? (yes) Mike, what is your teams record? (2-10) Mike, THAT IS, who you and they, ARE! LMAO!!!!!
The playoff committee and Kirby broke that man. Then GT finished him off and Napier swept away the pieces! (who the fook is @pigpen ??) lmaoooo
When one removes the two years Travis was the QB, Norvell's tenure at FSU is actually quite terrible. I was expecting a 7 win year without Travis, I thought he covered ALOT of Warts. But I was not expecting a dumpster fire "burner" for the ages! lol I was also shocked they went for DJ U as their answer to replace Travis.
Mid Major Mike was the luckiest HC in CFB having a 6th year QB stay along with the ridiculous transfers he nabbed. I also knew this year was going to be rough for them, but that ACC schedule usually keeps them bowl eligible. I also was shocked they went all in on DJU, that was a huge red flag and reeked of desperation on MMM's part for losing Travis to the draft. This has absolutely been the wackiest CFB season I can remember since probably '09. Hard to believe fsWHO fans were terrified that Bama was going to pluck MMM from them to end up 2-10. LMAO. CBN being all but fired to now we're the hottest program in the country atm. Lane being on every hot seat hiring to being on a hot seat himself. I am def looking forward to next year with all this chaos!
Well put, crazy. Some great stories in College Football this year. UF's storyline has been draining. Just real happy for Gator Nation to see the close, the Bowl eligibility, and this recruiting explosion. Gotta give Scott S some credit, him retaining CBN with a vote of confidence, finally got the mojo working back in the right direction. UF fans have hope for a decent "talent aquisition trajectory" when one combines ESD with the Portal opportunities. If CBN can hang on to most of the emerging young talent, retain some of the experience and perform some Portal magic, Perhaps Billy will enter Spring Camp with the best talent and potential seen around here in a long while. Maybe even have talk of being in the playoff. Still a rough schedule again, but gosh, are things a long way from where they were a day after the texas game. Hope has returned to Gator Nation. Should be an interesting off season.
I hear this a lot that the playoff snub broke FSU. But how exactly? FSU would have been drubbed by Michigan in the semifinal. Would FSU's roster look any different this year had they made the playoff? I doubt it. That roster really stinks, they weren't a player or two away from being good. Maybe with different luck they don't go 2-10, but they weren't ever going to be above .500.
Thank you! I def agree the new trajectory of the program CBN has a playoff appearance squarely in sight. The only thing I'll add to your post is adding a hot OC that can maximize DJL's potential. Also seeing a LOT of big time talent already putting their names into the portal Look what has happened since they believed they were "snubbed". Georgia treated them like an FCS school, they cried about the ACC, and are 2-11 since that "snub". Their class last year also fell apart and once again had to raid the portal and had to take a ton of reaches. So let's say the POC puts them into the 4 spot, even though I agree Michigan would have murdered them recruits would most likely have given them a pass for missing Travis, they keep the studs committed, and possibly grab more as a PO contender. So the POC rightfully leaving them out did the CFB world a favor as that cesspool of a "school" has completely imploded!
A MOMENT of THANKS to the SOW: When I was down, early this year, you were always there for me. When DJL got hurt against UGA, you were there for me again. After Texas, when my spirit was broken, once again you rescued me. And you out did yourself Saturday with 9 sacks, 14 TFL's and of course laying the rock on the carpet 8 times. To quote a line from Hoosiers: "I love you guys"
