Perpetuating debunked conspiracy theories for reasons of reciprocity is still perpetuating debunked conspiracy theories.

The me in my post is trump. The rest of the world, including practically everyone who has ever worked for him, are all lying. Believe him, a proven liar and con artist, not all the evidence, corroborated stories, judicial system, etc

Durham’s investigation of the Mules will be lit!

    Oh wait

Almost like, bear with me, that Trump’s first allegations of voter fraud (remember he won, just less votes) with his hand picked committee, found absolutely nothing and he shut it down rather than risk a report…..
    Rhinos or deep state?

That post was about my use of mindless/robotic in response to the oh so common allegation of 'cultists' against Trump supporters. Thats what the reference to reciprocity referred to.

Your "perpetuating conspiracy theories" is a convenient dismissal of pursuing the truth. To me, they are essentially hypotheses. Put them out there, expose them to scrutiny...

The mules hypotheses may have amounted to so much braying, 'the Kraken' may have turned out to be as mythical as its reference, and the my pillow guy may have been all fluff, no stuff...

    ...yet there remained smoke...

And following Peter Schwitzer's trailblazing investigative journalism, ashes have been uncovered. There was a fire....forged of manipulation of information and its most popular medium these days--social media.

FBI/CIA working in concert with FB, Twitter etc, to manipulate the information that fueled our political discourse and debates...

That's dirtier than (but in the same vain as) Tennessee hosing down the field to slow down the Gators' phantom 4 in 1928 to deprive us of our first natty and what would have been our only undefeated season.

It's what banana republics do, and how tyrannical single party communist and other authoritarian regimes roll, to hold on to power.

My bad. I thought it was a passive aggressive side swipe at me. Maybe a little defensive on my Part.

Btw, fwiw, in my posts you might just detect a subtle but undeniable dearth of ever citing Trump as an authority.

Trump is on the battle ground--he's neither the cause nor the territory fought over. Take Trump out of the equation, and the offenses against his voters remain egregious.

(Though I do realize he is THE cause yall fight over per your TDS).

Bullshit. What you’re doing is the convenient dismissal of pursuing the truth.

There were almost 70 lawsuits-all dismissed. Not even sure Trump had a single motion ruled in his favor, much less have a claim validated.

Countless recounts by Republican legislatures-results were valid. Investigations by various Republican state attorney generals that yielded nothing. Bill Barr saying the DOJ could find no evidence of systemic fraud.

But somehow DD makes a movie (that you admittedly didn’t even watch initially) now widely debunked and the rest of us become charlatans wanting authoritarian rule.

I don’t know many banana republics that investigate the election in any way as remotely extensively as the 2020 election was investigated, and yielded absolutely nothing.regardless of which party investigated it at the local, state or federal level.

Yet you keep claiming the other side is the problem.

    Cest la vie.

True the Vote is the group that provided the "evidence" 2000 Mules was based on.

Conservative group tells judge it has no evidence to back its claims of Georgia ballot stuffing

SAVANNAH, Ga. -- A conservative group has told a Georgia judge that it doesn't have evidence to support its claims of illegal ballot stuffing during the the 2020 general election and a runoff two months later.

Texas-based True the Vote filed complaints with Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger in 2021, including one in which it said it had obtained “a detailed account of coordinated efforts to collect and deposit ballots in drop boxes across metro Atlanta” during the November 2020 election and a January 2021 runoff.

A Fulton County Superior Court judge in Atlanta signed an order last year requiring True the Vote to provide evidence it had collected, including the names of people who were sources of information, to state elections officials who were frustrated by the group's refusal to share evidence with investigators.

In their written response, attorneys for True the Vote said the group had no names or other documentary evidence to share.

On its face, only the stupidest of people could have believed the propositions put forth in this film.

It's why you can't be surprised that a similar population believes that JFK, Sr. or Jr. will be VP candidates in November.

True, but it's the uncorruptible nature of conspiracies to excuse even the most obvious of fallacies.

I'm sure the usual suspects will come along soon to blame the deep state for destroying the evidence before these heroic truth seekers could produce it.

the defamation case against the author was given the go ahead late October

Judge Rules Against Dinesh D’Souza et. al, Allows Case to Proceed (protectdemocracy.org)

Today, a federal court in Georgia greenlit a lawsuit against Dinesh D’Souza, Salem Media, Regnery Publishing, True The Vote, and True the Vote’s Catherine Engelbrecht and Gregg Phillips (along with D’Souza Media) for peddling manufactured lies that the 2020 presidential election was stolen by “ballot mules” engaged in election fraud.

In a significant win for our client, voters, and democracy, the defamation and voter intimidation lawsuit filed against the makers and promoters of the disinformation film 2000 Mules and its accompanying book will proceed to discovery on its Ku Klux Klan Act and defamation and invasion of privacy claims.

Publicly, repeatedly, and without evidence, the defendants falsely accused Plaintiff Mark Andrews of being a so-called “ballot mule,” claiming he illegally cast ballots as part of a conspiracy to steal the 2020 election from then-President Donald Trump.

There was no factual basis to their claims; in fact, this lie had been repeatedly debunked and the complaint details how Defendants manufactured so-called “evidence” to fabricate their lies.

@92gator does this admission in open court that they had no evidence to support their claims convince you that the whole 2000 mules story is a work of fiction?

My guess is that like his orange idol he will never admit that he was wrong. Maybe he will surprise me but I wouldn't bet on it. Let's not forget that the majority of Republicans/Trumpists still believe that the Orange One really won the election and that it was stolen from him through fraud and in fact that percentage has actually been increasing.

hopefully this takes some wind out of their sails but they will likely come up with some reason that these people would have lied about this in open court even though it is against their best interests to do so

The complaint is very long, but I read some of it ... DeSauza actually blurred the guy's face in the movie, who was legally delivering votes cast by his family.

But then he and his co-defendants went on a publicity tour that included Fox News and bunch of fringe right wing outfits and he showed the same clips unblurred, even showed his license plate, while saying it was 100% illegal, a criminal ring -- and even making up more shit, like saying the "mules" pulled people out of their cars and set them on fire ...

    Hope this guy wins ...
