Yes tbh I've also wondered about that too. I'm hardly the most interesting man in the world but I've never had the time to keep up with or care about recruiting much.

I associate Sanders with the erosion of the "college" part of college athletics. At FSU, when a legislature passes a law known as the "Deion Sanders rule", you've made your mark. Now at Colorado, he's become the avatar in my eyes for the final dissolution.

I'm willing to keep an open mind. I dislike Kiffen and Freeze more. And I read some quote about he wants 3.5 GPA recruits from good families. Though I was burned by Meyerspeak on that, so as the great philosopher Ronald Reagan said: "Trust but verify."
