Why is it a problem. We expect certain things from our leaders. My kid is at Parris Island right now and I hope his DI doesn’t act like that.
The media covers stories that people are buzzing about. The nation has been buzzing about Deion and Colorado. It’s not rocket science. Perhaps you want the media to focus on Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State etc aka the same ol tires topics they cover every year
So instead of addressing his actual words which gave credit to Oregon, put blame on himself and made no excuses and admitted his team flat out got whooped, you focus on him wearing shades. Sounds about right LOL
The winners generally get the attention. I’m sick of Saban and Kirby and I don’t like them either but this is a clownshow.
Dion has made a career out of rubbing people the wrong way. As a coach that doesn’t have to take the field, maybe he should consider not creating bad blood.
Glad you can at least admit what he is. But no, very few coaches act like him, as the media has told us daily for the past month. You know, the media that doesn't have anything to do with this, according to you.
Both of them are probably bigger scumbags than Deion and have had legendary tirades where they show a lack of character and have shown their big egos, yet you don’t have half as much vitriol for either of them. Hmm I wonder why.
Deion has not said a negative word about any coach or any team he’s played against this season. Some of you absolutely love it when certain coaches rub people the wrong way, when it comes from people like Deion it’s suddenly a problem. Very interesting…
You’re right, many coaches are actually worse than him. They curse up a storm (Deion doesn’t use profanity), they throw their players under the bus (Deion takes the blame and accountability when his team loses), they act surly and go on epic tirades against media members after bad losses (Deion graciously answers questions even after getting blown out). But for some reason none of their behavior gets under peoples skin the way Deion does. Very interesting…
Depends on who the leader is, I guess. Certain leaders get to act like egotistical jackasses, and treat human beings like garbage and their behavior as a “leader” gets applauded and they still get plenty of support. People like Deion don’t have that luxury, I guess lol
FWIW, my Drill Sergeants were much more like Deion than Nick Saban. Big personalities, charismatic, loud at times, and absolutely talked about themselves in the 3rd person. Even more interesting, if they did talk to you in different settings they were not the exactly the same as when they were in front of the formation.
