Time for the USC faithful to realize that they have their own version of Jimbo Fischer. I see a damn bad loss for them...and Lincoln Riley. He is going to be crying...all the way to the bank. Poor fella.

Damn. Imagine being Lincoln Riley right now. Left a stable job at OU where he had them as consistent playoff contenders, only to bolt for USC when OU decided to join the SEC, maybe just to get sh*tcanned while having a heisman trophy winner on your team.

 

Saw on ESPN this morning that Utah is shutting him down for the year at this point.

Give Whittingham a lot of credit for the win, ending with his decision to move the ball from the right hashmark to the center of the field using his last timeout setting up an easier field goal for his kicker.

 

He is in year 2 and has a record of 17-5 as I note, so why would he get sh**canned as you say? I was told we need to give coaches 4-5 years or does that not apply to USC? Asking for a friend.

On a different note, Whittingham is a heck of a coach. Very impressed with his coaching given he is starting his backup qb.
